Open Source Scanning-Tunneling Microscope Project
An in-progress project to create a Scanning-Tunneling Microscope (STM), a device capable of imaging nanometer and smaller features. Commercial STMs cost upwards of $15,000, the goal of this project is to create an open source STM for approximately $1000.
